Emergency Preparedness

As of May 1, 2012, Virginia Department of Social Services regulations regarding adoption require that
adoptive homes have a written Emergency Preparedness Plan. The following is a series of questions to assist
you in addressing the components of such a plan. Please submit your completed plan with the other supporting
documents for your home study.
